I'm 43, and joined Spark to help me get in shape in late 2008. I was in a great exercise habit, run/walking every few days. Between the cardio and lots of anxiety (I had a big work trip in Spring 2009) I was down to 126. For me, that's probably a little underweight.
Anyhow, my work trip was extremely stressful, but I did well, survived, and then have gained 20 pounds since. How did that happen?????! Well, partly comfort, partly denial, partly assuming I would never break 140 again. So I'm back and wiser, and happy to support others in this quest for great health and fitness!
I love my work - I manage an arts education program, and I'm happily married with a daughter in Grade 2. All is well and good - I'm just frustrated that I let the pounds creep on.
Anyhow, I'm back & ready to work! Wishing everyone well!
