Denise from MN (or TX currently!) I have probably fought FM since 1984 when I was working 2 jobs. The pain got me and forced me to quite one. I too, have pain 24/7 but it is eased for a couple days every 2 wks. when I have deep tissue massage. I hurt during and after massage but do feel better for a couple days. Those are the days I treasure. Most of the exercising II do is walking and water exercises. This is the way I ease discomfort of exercise. The hot tub feels great after working out in the water.
Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner. Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.

Welcome to the team. I'm Michelle but everyone calls me Shell. I've had fibro for 16 years and truly diagnosed for 3 years. I have RA, OA, Sjogrens Syndrome, Stress incontinence, and hypothyroidism. I hear ya about the pain. The severe dry mouth and eyes is also a problem for me. I'm like you and push myself as well, I think we all do at some point or another. Glad to have you with us

Hi my name is Denise and I have had fibromyalgia for 21 years now. It has been a struggle at times to get my exercise in in the past due to flairups. I am constantly in pain everyday of my life throughout my whole body. There are times when the pain is so bad and the fluid in my spinal column is high. I push myself to exercise at Curves 3 times a week. I see your team goal is 4 times a week but it is hard. I joined this group because I have struggled for years to lose my weight and looking for support from others that have this too. Thanks
