I have been a SHE for almost 30 years, and FLYing for around 8 years.
I read about SparkPeople in an article about the best weight management plans/programs out there... so I checked it out! The site seems to bring together the best of many healthy
plans. I had lost 50 pounds with Weight Watchers over a period of 2 years. Over the last year, I have gained almost 18 pounds back. I obviously know how to lose weight, but unless I am accountable, I fall back into bad habits. If I become lax in my routines, I get clutter...in this case, body clutter!
I joined SparkPeople last Saturday, and look forward to having my "weekly" weigh in on Monday morning. I use my Wii Fit Plus to weigh. I had not used the Wii in 352 days(when I weighed Sunday)...and stopping the Wii routine daily was when I started getting body clutter again...I also quit WW at the same time.
SP seems to have similar tools to WW's online pages. They worked well for me. I have been faithful to filling in each day this week...
Being the SHE I am, I can tend to get over involved. The SP site is a bit ovewhelming at first, so I plan on getting my feet wet slowly. I joined a Wii Team. I hope I can participate in the FlY Team's journey to healthy habits and routines, as the one stable thing in my life has been Flying and my SHEness...LOL!
I do not do much on the FLYlady forums, as I do not care for Big Tent. Still order my FLYtools, though! Can't imagine life without my Flylady Calendar... I check in there occasionally to see how the FLYcrew is doing, and I follow on FB. I am involved in the SHE forums, and they keep me accountable in living my routines daily.
I hope I can achieve my goals using the SP tools, and can be accountable to my fellow FLYers/SHE's here.
