For daal, for instance, I make my own and add the recipe I use here at sparkpeople. It then gives me complete nutritional info. I can then tailor my recipe to make it healthier.

I use allrecipes.com and they have a ton of Indian dishes all with nutrition values.

Hi all..I am so happy to have found this forum at sparkpeople. It is really difficult measuring calories with desi food. I have no idea how many calories are there in dishes such as poha, dals, dosas, idly etc.Any ideas on how to measure? Do help
