emoticon to the team. I have four teens from 13 to 18. The oldest will be leaving for college the beginning of August. I am very blessed as my kids are all pretty good. They have their moments, but all of them are respectful, get good grades and helpful.

You've come to the right place for support as a parent and to become a healthier person. I'm glad you are here.

Hello and welcome to the Sp family and the team....I say Parent are from Heaven teens are from Hell....lol...but what can you do but teach, love, motivate and encourage them to be the best they can be....they will challenge and push you to your absolute limits....but stand your ground....standing firm and hanging in there with them will ultimately let them know that you are deserving of their respect and that you not only are deserving of it but demand it.....They may not like the rules but in the long run they will appreciate it...I find that children like and need structure....and it's our job to make sure that they get that....one day they will be grown and on their own with families of their own and they can make those decision they are dying to make right now.....Hang in there you are so not alone....give them all that you can while you can...and one day they will appreciate it when you least expect it....

If You're tired or starting over stop giving up

Welcome! I have three teens, as well, and find lots of support here on Spark, both for parenting and for healthy living.

Hey spark peeps- I am relatively new here to spark and am loving it so far. I have a 17 yr old son a 15 yr old daughter and an 11 yr old son and I am completely crazed by them lol. I have wonderful energetic kids but being there teenagers and there worlds are very important and extremely chaotic I get overwhelmed by that. I work full time and have a supporting husband that works full time as well. We both come from dysfunctional families so when we decided to have children we wanted to be sure to break alot of cycles, which we have successfully. I love my children, they are my world. Sometimes I lay awake at night and wonder if anyone elses teenagers talk back to them, show disrespect, have motivational lags lol and I'm soo glad to see and read I share alot with others on here!I was feeling like I was the only one. Thank you fellow parents of teenagers for sharing your life with us!It truly has helped me thru
