Hi my name is Lisa and Im a nurse working 11-7 shift. I go to school fulltime during the day. I have a disabeled husband who is like my fourth child. My children are ages 17,16,and 12. I am very busy. I feel that there is not enough time in the day. But yet, I feel like I am missing out on being physically active with my kids. I regret that I cant go to a concert or baseball game because im to fat to sit in the seat. I avoid going to the beach because im embarrased being seen in a bathing suit. I cant miss out on much more of their lives im their emotionally. I want to be there physically. I want to set a good example for my kids.

Hi I'm Lei, a registered nurse. Since I am on the healthcare profession it is only proper that I look like it. Looking as big as I am right now I don't know if I can motivate my patients to change their behaviors if I myself don't show how it is to be healthy. I was always the fat girl and I wan to be no more. I always thought it is impossible to lose weight and always blamed my genes, for most of my clan are composed of big bodied people. But one time in college I had a friend who invited me to work out in a gym, I hesitated at first coz I was extremely shy but I joined her anyway, since then I had lost 25 kilograms. people around me start noticing my weight loss and I was happy. But then I got busy with nursing school and stopped going to the gym and when I did, Iregained 10 kilos in a span of 6 months. I have found sparkpeople and hoping that I can start again to lose weight and this time finally succeed! help me guys!
