"Tenacity is the quality displayed by someone who just won't quit -- who keeps trying until they reach their goal. Anything really worth doing takes persistence, perseverance, and stubborn determination! I AM a Tenacious Jungle Tiger and these are my survival skills!!"
This is a great site to get resources, support and encouragement. The site can be a bit overwhelming at first but if you concentrate on one area at a time you will have an easier time navigating it. There are a lot of people here who can answer any questions that you may have. Also, on the start page there is a tab at the top of the page that will show you how to use the site, there are written instructions and video tours. If you are really struggling try using this.
The more active you are on the site the easier you will find it, both for navigating the site and for your healthy lifestyle journey.
I look forward to hearing your success stories.
Quality is never an accident, it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

My name is Wendy, I am a 44 year old disabled mother of 3 ( 2 girls 22&16 , 1 boy 15) my oldest has moved out .I have been sick with Asthma ,Copd,Chronic Back Pain & also Bi-Polar Disorder.I recently went into ICU due to my breathing and sleep apenea, Copd, there were complcations and my lungs couldnt pump out the carbon dioxide ,nevertheless I almost died they found me slumped over in my hospital bed that morning with three times the saturation of carbon dioxide poisoning, I was told they never have seen a person survive that.
So with my health failing me , I'm hoping taking the weight off and learning new habits will keep me around for my kids sake ,i get frustrated at maneuvering this new website but i keep trying and am slowly figuring it out.I would rather follow a different diet but dont know whats best for me anyways ...hoping to meet encouraging friends headed towards similar goals in becoming healthy not just skinny !
