Hello everyone. My name is Christine I'm 37 years old and am a stay-at-home mom. (Not by choice) Mother of, well kind of 5. We have a blended family. In addition to my 3. I was also a surrogate 3x. Currently I'm not at the weight I would like to be. It has nothing to do with society telling women they have to be "stick thin" or my husband complaining about my weight, because he doesn't. He would never do that to me. It's just me. I keep comparing myself to what I use to look like in high school. I know to get that back might be unrealistic. So maybe I should just focus on being healthy and just losing the extra pounds I JUST DON'T need. So here I am. I joined sparkpeople because I wanted to track my fitness/weight loss goals. I have a tape measure, I bought a scale, and a pedometer. Like I said I am a stay at home mom, not by choice. So I don't have the income to maintain a gym membership. So I figured with these tools and incorporating SPARPEOPLE I should do just fine. Anyone in the West Hills, CA area that would like to go for a walk sometime I would appreciate the company.
