I have been doing SparkPeople off and on for a few years now. I get excited to start on the weight loss journey. I start off really dedicated, weighing and measuring food, trying to stay in my correct caloric intake range. Then I get tired. I get tired of weighing and measuring food. I think that I have been doing it long enough that can "eyeball" the food. I obviously can't correctly "eyeball" the food.
I am going to dedicate myself to this journey. Therefore, I am going to introduce myself in these forums. I hope to be able to hold myself accountable. I am currently training for a half-marathon that will take place on Aug 31. This will be my second half. I have done two marathons and a number of 5 and 10K races along with other races. I am not fast, but I enjoy running.
If all goes right this calculates that I will be to my goal weight on Nov 3, 2013. That will mean that I will be at an ideal weight for my height. I hope to enjoy this journey with you all. Any encouraging words are welcome :)
