hey! I've lost 10 lbs mainly on Jillian's workouts. And I was so excited to find this SparkTeam. I just love Jillain's work outs. They sure kick my butt.

Hi. Just did day 1 of the 30 day shred. It wasn't that bad. I feel so good.
The first time I did it I passed out but today I took time and did it at my own pace and just a few reps. Iam going to keep building up as I go.
Wishing every one luck.

Hi everybody, here I go, didn't get going yesterday, but I am going to get going today! Got my videos, my 3 lb weights, a 10 lb kettle, a mat and weight glovies with no fingers. I can't say I'm thrilled, but I am looking on this as an adventure! I am going to have to shut my door when I work out, because the cat chases my feet when I dance or move fast I have noticed!
Jisha, I hope it is going well for you, and I hope we can motivate each other, sorry I didn't check the site sooner. Together we can do it!

Hey!! I'm Jisha. I'm gonna start JM's 30 day shred from tomorrow. I can easily start any workout plan, but my problem is sticking with it. My motivation runs dry mid way. And my weight has hit 74kg, the highest i have ever weighed. If this does not call for serious work from my part, then what does? I really want to shed some weight and i seriously want to stick to this workout routine. I hope that i can in this forum find all the motivation i need.

My name is Margie, and I am getting ready to do the shred. I am not quite ready yet, planning on starting on October 1st through November 1st. I want a little time to set up my space, get acquainted with the video, and decide whether I want to do the shred with or without the weights (I have the kettle and the 3lb weight versions). I feel very nervous about this, afraid that I won't be able to do it. But I keep telling myself, one step at a time is the only way to go.
I am very out of shape, so maybe this isn't the right video for me. I have been a couch potato for the last 10 years, half of that I had chronic illness. I weigh 182 and I am 5'3". But I WANT something more for my life, and I am determined to change. I have already begun a balanced weight loss plan, including vitamin supplements. My doctor has given me the go ahead, and at age 46 I have no high blood pressure, heart or lung disease or anything else that would medically hold me back.
If you have any ideas that could help me, please drop me a line.
Hi there! I have been using Jillian Michaels DVD's for the past year. I love them! They have been helping me to become fit and healthy.

Hello! I am on Day 3 of the Shred and didn't even feel like puking! :) I do not use the message boards on here very often, but thought it would be nice to see others' progress with Jillian. I had never even heard of her a couple of weeks ago, and now she's like my imaginary best friend. Haha.
I am keeping track of my experience with the Shred in my blog. You are welcome to check it out. Good luck everyone! Nice to meet you. :)
Ok I got the DVD today and did my first workout level 1. Yeah Me! Let's see how this goes! I guess this is suppose to be a 30 day straight workout. Let the shredding begin.

After having my second child (2 years ago), I've decided this is my year to change my life. I hope weight loss naturally comes with it. I love JM and will be doing her 30-day shred to jump start my workouts.

New around here, or at least learning this time. I joined some time ago but just could not give the time I needed to really get the feel of things, or get them going. I just graduated with a bachelors degree and decided that it was time to get back to me. I am single with a wonderful son who is helping me stay on top of things and get I into shape. Still trying to figure how everything works and how to make me time during the day to do what I need. Just started this DVD, made it halfway through the first week workout, then wanted to quite it was killing me. I hope it gets easier soon and that I don't give up on it. Any ways nice to meet everyone.

Hi... I've been doing some other DVDs at home, but it is time to do this one... I was saving it for a time when I felt in better shape since I know it is kind of difficult, but it may be just what I need right now. I'll be doing it with a co-worker... Hopefully we'll enjoy it.

I just finished doing JM Fast fix kickboxing... love it! Now I think I am going to do the slim down rotation of all JM's video's plus I am incorporating her Fast Fix. My ultimate goal is to do nice steady cardio in the morning... running or the elliptical, then at night do the rotations for 30 days.
I really hope I can nail this goal!

Hey, my name is Stacy and I started Jillian's 30 Day Shred yesterday. So sore! I also do her Yoga Melt DVD and I really love the Kickbox Fast Fix DVD. Hoping I can do this Shred workout everyday with this soreness. Maybe I will do every other day and do yoga or kickbox the other days.

Hi! I'm not new to SP or to 30D Shred either, but it's been a long time since I've been able to do any workouts with impact because of injury. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to start this or Total Body Revolution when I'm cleared for exercise again later this week (hopefully!), but it'll be one of them! I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and making friends while on my weight loss journey. I have about 65 pounds to lose. :)
Also, if you like paranormal romance and urban fantasy I'd love to see you over at the book club I just started!
Hi Brenda, I am new here but I just finished day one level one today too. My thighs are sore, can hardly climb the stairs and I suppose tomorrow they will feel worse. Are you going to try to go 30 days straight? Kay

I want to be fit for life so exercise video's will be a regular in my life. You can do it definitely~~~~!!!!!!! Just do it one day at a time.

Ok. I tried this DVD before when I was working out like crazy for over a year and failed. I now hardly ever work out, but a friend is doing it with another person...so, I am going to give it a go. I don't have anything to lose, but the weight! I'm not sure I'm excited, but I know I always feel good after a good workout, so hopefully that will motivate me..along with the extra accoutability. Starting 30 day shred today if anyone want to chat!

Hi, I'm Paulina and i joined Spark People sometime in June 2012. I began this journey so many times over and over again, but I just couldn't seem to remain focused, so I'm hoping to receive as much support as possible. My goal is to lose atleast 30 pounds and tone EVERYTHING up! However, it's a little more difficult for me because I'm in a wheelchair ( not much use of my legs, and limited range of motion with arms), but I'm trying to find something that will work for me. Any suggestions? I would love to be the next Jillian Michaels...LOL!.....No, seriously!

Hopefully I will see some results by the end of the 30 days. I had my second child 12 weeks ago and hope that Jillian will help me lose my mommy tummy and all the extra baby fat.

It is nice to see everyone doing great!
I really believe in 30 Day Shred will deliver great results so even though I am sore as hell I keep going!
Today will be my Day 3/ Level 1. Level 1 title fools those who are not familiar with this workout but MAN it is hard! Especially if you are overweight and out of shape as much as me!
For now my only intense workout is this program. I walk at home 1 mile (plan to increase it to 2 miles later on) to keep myself active during the day but that's about it.
I weigh in, took photos and measurements and I don't plan to weigh myself before I finish. So I hope to see good results by then.
