I'ma SAHM to 2 kids, and I go to college online as well. Overall, I'd like to go from my current weight down to around 15-20lbs by Jan 1st. I get impatient when results are teensie, so I've set a smaller, sub-goal to lose 1/3 of the weight by the end of October. Hopefully before Thanksgiving, I will have lost close to 1/2 of the overall weight. :-) Sub-goals are more noticeable with results and less overwhelming for someone as impatient as me. :-)
In the past, I've managed to lose about 10-12lbs ina short time using the Wii Fit alone, and since that didn't feel so daunting -- I might go that route again. I've plateau'ed since then and backed off from working out so I wouldn't stress over not being able to lose those last few pounds, but I'm done with plateaus; I want it off, so here I am! Yesss, I actually do have several routines on it depending on what I feel like working on for the day; I'd be more than happy to share. I also keep a set of weights near the balance board so that I can get more oomph for my workout/fun.
I've been using another site for tracking calories and activities, but it always seem to go dead after a few weeks of using it... Guess I get bored easily. LOL Anyways, it's hard to stay motivated when the place isn't lively, so I'm hoping this is the place for me.
