I am up 0.2 pounds. This is after a weekend in Vegas as I just got back yesterday. I did a ton of walking and drank my water as it was so hot there.

Great job on the weight loss Christina.

How did everyone do?

Monday again im at 209 down 1 pound ya me I have no idea how I managed to lose anything this week other than being sick yesterday but still happy with the results. This week back on track!!!!! Im gonna try the jillian michaels dvd Im sooo excited just need to feel better and get moving!!! How did everyone else do?

I really tried to workout everyday and I ate horribly but tracked it. I really feel obligated to this challenge so I really focused!!!! Thank you gold team! emoticon

Congratulations to you too Christina on losing weight this week.

For me, I've doubled up on my exercise. I do some in the morning, and in the afternoon. And I also exercised 7 days a week, except for a reduced time on Sunday because that is my busy day. And I also wrote down my food exchanges so I knew what I was eating throughout the day, and what I was lacking on by the end of the day.

What did you do?

Hello everyone. I accepted as the Club Tabulator. It would help me out alot if you could report, on how you did this week. Report on if you lost or gained by the pound. For example, if you lost 0.50 pounds, let me know, or if you gained 1.5 pounds, let me know. I have a chart started, and I can let everyone know how we did as a group tomorrow. 170 today, that is up from 165 a week ago. I went camping and ate all the good stuff so I am sure that had an effect. I think some of it is water weight because I feel puffy and out of sorts. Just went on a bike ride though and have eaten healthy today so it should drop fast.

Hey Fellow Goldies,

My new discovery?

Wow.... I haven't been this impressed in a long time. You know, I'd see people out walking around with ski poles and think, "Do you guys know how stupid that looks?"

Well, now I'm one converted goofball, because I had my maiden voyage with Nordic poles today. And soon as I finish this blog, I'm heading out again.

It was just too cool! I felt like I was getting a workout in places that I'd forgotten were there! I opted for the poles with the rubber feet, but I didn't get the retractable ones, and I'm gonna promise you, I'll be needing them. Why not get in a workout as often as possible?

Please spend the $20.00 and go have a very cool Nordic walk. You won't be sorry.

So for my reward I choose I get to spend 20 bucks on whatever I want (clothes, fabric, movie whatever)and for punishment I have to pull weeds in the yard (which I never do and there are a lot of them) emoticon

Now we are supposed to lose 5 pound how long do we have to do it? And are the rewards and punishment weekly if we dont lose any weight at all or what? Sorry the answers are probably somewhere but I havnt seen them

Loveydub, you cracked me up with "Join WW" as a punishment.

What is everyone doing for their weight loss? This is my plan to reach my goal:

- Striving for 64 oz of water a day;

- Not eating chips on a daily basis. I am going to allow myself to have one bowl on a weekly basis as I just can not stay away from them. I had them on Tuesday night so I can not have them until Tuesday now.

- Writing everything down that I eat

- Exercise for over an hour on a daily basis

Reward Suggestions:

1) Manicure and Pedicure
2) a New Book or audiobook
3) go to the movies
4) Bouquet of flowers
5) A new bag or shoes

Punishments:
1) Give money to an enemy
2) Church every sunday (if you don't go)
3) No meat (if you're a meat-eater)
4) Join WW
5) Go to an AA meeting

Just a few off the top of my head...

My reward will be a new top. I've been looking at some recent photos of me and I see that I'm wearing the same comfortable tops in most of them.

And for my punishment:
I will mow the front lawn. I usually do the back lawn because it only takes 25 to 30 minutes to do it by hand. But, the front yard takes about 45 to 50 minutes to do it by hand because it's bigger, and the lawn is bumpier which makes it harder to push the mower.

What Is Your Reward?

Before we get started with the changes we're about to make to shed this 5 lbs, we need to plan a motivation, a reward.

A massage, a pedicure, going out to the movies - any non-food reward you feel makes the 5 lbs worth it is more than acceptable, but it has to be a reward big enough to make it motivating.

And here's the rub:

You need a punishment.

Here's mine: there is a religion to which very prominent people belong which totally gives me the heebee jeebies. I promise to give $25.00 to this religion as a punishment for not having lost this five pounds. Stark, huh?

Post your reward on your Sparkpage, and tell someone about your punishment before you start, so that they will hold you responsible. The best person to tell is someone who would LOVE for you to fail, but who has the nads for that??? (hehehe)

BTW, I'm still looking for a club tabulator willing to total up our loss for the week(s). Any takers?
