I'm digiscrappy, and I'm a 30-something mom-of-4 from Northern Virginia. I'm not really new to SparkPeople, but this is my first time taking it really seriously (I even consulted a medical professional), and I've recently reset my goals. For now, I'm shooting for 140 pounds, but my ultimate goal is ~125 pounds.
I've had my Wii Fit for about 2.5 weeks and love using it, although I need to work on my consistency (I have to fight my kids for use of the tv/Wii).
For now, I've been sticking with Yoga, Aerobics, and Balance Games... I admit, I'm a weakling, and have trouble with the Strength exercises. (I cannot even do a "girl" push up, my arms are so weak.)
I'm about 1/3 of my way to my goal (140 pounds), although I'm finding that my weight just seems to fluctuate back and forth within a few pounds. Up, down, up, down... without really being able to explain it.
I'd love some suggestions, if anyone has them, for how I can build up to being ready for the strength training. Hand weights during aerobics, maybe?
