I'm Tim and have been meaning to come in and introduce myself since I joined last week, and just now getting around to it. I'm from a small town in Virginia along the Blue Ridge Mountains called Afton, but now live near Salisbury, Maryland. I've been an O's fan since I knew what a baseball was. I've been able to attend a few games thru the years. My first game was with the church group and we saw the California Angels and that was at Memorial Stadium. What a game that was. Nolan Ryan was pitching for the Angels and Jim Palmer for the O's. I haven't been able to go to a game in Baltimore in a few years. Cal Ripken was playing the last time I went. Hope to change that this year. Here in Salisbury, we have the Delmarva Shorebirds who are an affiliate of the O's, so I go watch them when I can. I'm looking forward to a good year in baseball this year, and really hoping the O's turn some runs and win a championship. It's been a long time in the waiting.
