I have been thinking about it more, and came up with needing to set a time and sticking with it, which sounds like what you do in the morning. I'll let you know how it goes emoticon

Thank you everyone for the welcomes and support.

Hi Diane. In the week and a half i have been here, fitness is the only thing i have been consistent in lol. I have a few tips that have helped me and hopefully u can incorporate them into your life to help you as well.

1. I go on Spark people right away in the morning. Helps me to get the motivation i need and reminds my brain that i am still doing this today lol.
2. As soon as im awake in the morning i start my workout. I usually go for a mile walk then do my 30 min workout. Otherwise i lose ambition as the day goes on.
3. Try to make sure you get enough sleep so your not to tired to workout. This is sometimes a problem for me because i have a 9 month old.
4. Drink lots and lots of water. I rarely ever make it to my 8 cups myself. But i keep on trying.

Hi Amber. I'm glad to meet you. I lost 5 lbs a few weeks ago, and have just been plateauing since. Congrats!! Course it would help if I were consistent in my fitness. Life sort of gets in the way for me. Any suggestions you have would be helpful also! emoticon - Diane -

Hi im new here to this team and pretty new to spark people. I have been here for a week and a half. Sunday's i weigh in and I have lost almost 5lbs in my first week. So im pretty happy with my success. My name is Amber im 25. I live with an amazing man and our daughter who is 9months old now. I am always looking for friends and support and always here who need the same from me. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
