On this team, we offer a daily challenge (a beginning and an advanced exercise to choose from that you try to do for five minutes) and a weekly challenge (posted on Mondays - a video workout that is typically longer than 5 minutes). I haven't posted yet today, but I will in a bit. Plus there's a chat thread for you to post to and other threads for fun games.
Overall at SparkPeople, there are a lot of great resources. I personally like the fitness tracking which allows me to map the routes I walk and figure out what the distance is. There are also many forums and articles. I use SparkPoints as a motivator, so looking there and doing the tasks required to get points is also fun.
Hope you enjoy Spark! There's so much for free, and there's also the SparkCoach offering that's new - you can try it for free and then it's .99 for the first month and 7.99 a month thereafter. That program offers some daily tasks as well as the opportunity to email a coach weekly and receive a personalized response. They are going to be adding to and refining the offerings of that program, but it can be beneficial for folks who like having assignments as well as for those who would like to speak specifically to an expert about their situation.
There is also SparkLive, which allows you to have interaction with others. It's a meeting format (there's a cost associated with this as well) that you dial into, sort of like Weight Watchers or other programs' meetings.
