I think that you have come to the right place. I have been on SP now for over a year (I started about three times before that, but just wasn't ready to stick with it.) I love this site because it offers so many things: message groups for support, wonderful education tools, tons of foods in the food tracker, motivation for adding exercise in your life, teams that fit almost everyone's life and life issues, etc. And for me, the absolute best thing about it is that it is free. I struggle with things like WW that charge money to help you lose weight, but don't really teach you how to keep it off. I hope you find what you are looking for here and best of luck with all your goals. Look around the teams and see if there is one that fits with your help issues.

I'm new to this site and to the idea of joining an online-support community for help and motivation. I have some medical issues that limits my activity level and take medications that cause weight gain. I've gained 55 pounds over the last few years and have used my limitations as an excuse. Finally I have decided to make the commitment to do something. NO MORE EXCUSES!
