I'm not sure if this question actually belongs on this forum or not, but so far I can't find many answers so thought I'd try here.
On New Years Eve, I was diagnosed with Stage One Non-Small Cell Carcinoma (Lung Cancer). Yeah seriously, New Years Eve!!
I started chemo on January 10 and am about 1/2 way thru this first session and once this session is over, follow up tests will be done to determine where we go from here. Soooo I'm doing what I can to remain as positive and pro-active as possible. Unfortunately, I'm getting frustrated with not getting much information as to what EXERCISES I should maybe be doing at this point. As it seems each person reacts differently to their chemo treatments, I've been told to do "easy" things and do them as I feel "up to it". Which is fine with me and I'm trying my best to follow that, but it's difficult when you are VERY tired every day, nauseous most days, feel like you are aching head to toe other days .... well I'm sure you get the idea. The most exercise those days is making the effort to get my butt out of bed and over to the couch LOL
And then there is the eating problem.... . Does ANYONE have any suggestions or ideas, or know of any particular websites or even forums here (yes I've looked but can't find much) that might be able to direct me to some "easy" exercise challenges and/or eating with cancer challenges???
I'd sure appreciate any and all suggestions please and thanks. ~ Nancy
