Hi, I joined sparkpeople years ago but never followed through. This time I finally realized that weight lose is a lot of hard work. Lots of minutes of exercise and eating right and counting calories. Weight lose is not an over night thing, it took a while to put on and it will take a while to take off but I find I am healthier because I am exercising now.
Tired of pills, tired of depression, and tired of not liking myself. I graduated Graphic Design school in 2010 with a 3.94 GPA at the age of 48 and lost confidence in myself because of how I looked and felt about myself. Four years of part to 3/4 time school working my bottom off and I am still sitting here.
With each day I get up and go workout before work during the week I feel better about myself. My goal is to be healthier, get off all the meds, and I like myself; and not to mention lose the weight as well.
Sorry for dropping the emotional ride but have to get ride of the negative to bring all the positive into my life.
