I find using spark points or pennies as some call them encourages us to use all that available to us. Try seeing how many points you can collect in a day that should encourage you to drink your water, log your food, read motivational articles and blogs they all have helped me.

Hi and welcome to SP and to the team. Motiviation is different for each person, so I am not sure what to tell you. I will tell you some things that have helped me so far, and maybe you can take it from there. First of all, tell yourself that you CAN do this, but it won't happen over night, because it is a change in thinking and behaviours. Second, get your 8 glasses of water in. That is managable at the beginning. Keep posting on teams and start to blog, as there are so many people in the land of SP to help and support you. I find that tracking my food (every morsel that goes into my mouth) helps me to realize just how little food I actually need. Keep an open mind and realize that something that works one day, might not work the next. It is all about learning and applying that new learning to your life. You can do this!!! Baby steps, but it's well worth it.
