Sometimes, I think we need those set backs to prove to ourselves that this is a life-long commitment. Just like we need up-keep on our homes, automobiles, etc, we need up-keep on our bodies as well.
You can still make use of your convalescence time by reading articles, making a plan, creating a vision collage, collecting healthy recipes, re-making recipes into healthier versions, or whatever sounds right to you. With a picture like you have for your profile, I know you are creative and will make the most of this down time.

Hey all! This is my second time in SP and I'm glad I'm back. My first time through, I lost 44 pounds. Well, I've gained 20 of those back (BAD Ramy!) and I want them gone, never to return. When my husband, my workout partner, hurt his back, our trips to the gym pretty much stopped. I've decided to let the holiday's pass then start again Jan 2nd. I have to have surgery on 12/1 and between my recovery time and the Yule season, I figure it's best to start in January. No turning back, no going back. Time to start again with a new lifestyle! Exercise, eat right, be happy with myself!
