I would think the best place for you too start would be to use the food tracker-in the beginning just track ALL you eat-then you can see where you are lacking i.e. Protein, etc. Then you can see where the changes are needed. Good luck, this really is a wonderful site.
Hi. I am a 54 year old female living in NC (Charlotte area). I have been going to the gym with a personal trainer for almost a year. While I have lost inches, I have not lost weight. After being gone for about 6 weeks, I am back at the gym with a new trainer who suggested I join this site. I have failed at every diet except Atkins, which was unsustainable. I have set my goal at losing 50 pounds over 8 months. I am not optimistic. I am not home for dinner at least three nights a week and my trainer says I don't eat enough (and no where near enough protein). I am hoping for suggestions and ideas on how to achieve my goal.
