I'm sorry I disappeared for a few weeks.
Right after I joined and introduced myself, I volunteered to be a chaperone for my son's ice skating outing (high school group).
After two hours of skating, I unfortunately tripped, and broke several ribs.
It's been a rough few weeks, but over the holiday weekend I turned a corner and the pain is much more manageable now.
I need to start using my dumbbells and strengthening my bones!
I bought Joyce's Complete Bone-Building Body Shaping Workout DVD as well as the book with the same title.
I've purchased that book about three times in the past ten years! I start strong, fall off and then give it to someone wanting to start a workout program.
I'm originally from Long Island so I enjoy the way Joyce communicates. She's real, direct and says what she means.
I need to start small and be faithful.
Yesterday I got my house up-to-speed and all caught up with things that fell behind while I was in so much pain. Now I need to get my eating under control and get back to some exercising.
Have you found a calcium supplement that doesn't upset your stomach? I'm having a hard time finding one that I'll take.
I'm pretty good at buying calcium supplements. Taking them? Not so much!
