Hi everyone, I'm new here. I started running using the C25K app last year and had great success. First, it helped me quit smoking - YAY! I progressed from barely being able to run around the block to my 1st 5k (ever), then the 10k and was on my way to my first half marathon when I had some setbacks. I had surgery that prevented me from running that half, recovered and was back at it again. I fell this winter during a 5k and tore some tendons in my ankle. It's been about 10 weeks and the doctor has cleared me to start some run/walk mix. I'm starting back with the C25K 2-3x a week and hoping to finally get that half this year!
