Just joined and excited to find this group! I joined a Boot Camp in January for 3 weeks after basically not exercising for years. I would exercise here and there, but nothing that would make a lasting impression on my body. Anyways, the Boot Camp obviously kicked my butt, however, I realized that despite not having a routine exercise regimen, eating like crap, and letting work/family take over my life, I was still pretty tough! I was amazed at what my body could do. After that, I started running and joined the gym. I have since participated in two 5Ks, the 2nd one I ran the entire race (yay!) and I continue to love running.
