Anytime you are moving in a forward motion with both feet off the ground, you are running - and it doesn't matter how fast. This was driven home for me recently, when some runners were all discussing how they wanted to get faster. It didn't matter if they could do a four minute mile or a fourteen minute mile - the goal is always the same. LOL
Why do we crave speed so much?!?
LOL, and welcome to the team.
hey its all good I consider myself a runner too but its more of a granny jog for me Doesn't it make you feel awesome when you go out for a run?

Congratulations on being a RUNNER (yep, no matter what your speed is, as long as you're out there doing it, you ARE a runner) and on your 5k! Way to go!!!!

I am a new runner for sure. Although I wouldn't call what I do "running" just yet, more like fast feet shuffleling. I did a 5k this weekend. I'm just so happy I came in under 1 hour, it was :49:02 That's like a big deal for me!
I'm not where I want to be! BUT, I'm not where I used to be! Today is a Brand New Day!
