Anytime you are moving in a forward motion with both feet off the ground, you are running - and it doesn't matter how fast. This was driven home for me recently, when some runners were all discussing how they wanted to get faster. It didn't matter if they could do a four minute mile or a fourteen minute mile - the goal is always the same. LOL
I am a new runner for sure. Although I wouldn't call what I do "running" just yet, more like fast feet shuffleling. I did a 5k this weekend. I'm just so happy I came in under 1 hour, it was :49:02 That's like a big deal for me!
