Thanks ACICEDA, I am actually doing much better this time than I thought. I have actually run the whole 3.1 a few times on my treadmill. I am hoping it warms up so I can give it a try outside.

Thanks Linda, and good luck on your 5K. The one I am doing in April I have done once about two years ago and walked most of it. I am hoping to do better this year.

Hi and welome to team ! I'm going to be 58 later this month and never attempted running until 3 years ago. Then last spring things came up and the summer was too hot and I didn't do much running. Just a little in the fall but not consistently. I started again on January 1st also. I'm doing a 5k this Saturday that I have done twice before. I am not ready to run it entirely but will be doing some running and some walking. I'm glad you are giving it another try. It's never too late. We're here for you!

Hey, my name is Kim and I am almost 52 and am a beginning runner, again. I ran some over the summer but stopped to do some distance bicycling. Starting Jan. 1st I am running again, on a treadmill until it warms up, and strength training. I am a slow runner right now, about 13.55 minute mile, but hope to improve on that number by April when I attempt a 5K. I hope to learn alot from everyone here, and look forward to sharing my journey.
