Congrats on your achievements. Good luck with the elliptical (either you love them or you hate them I find). It is a great cross-trainer for myself.

Hi all -- My name is Alison, I'm new to the team here and eager to get involved.

I started going to the gym two months ago, inconsistently, and I'm finally starting to develop habits.A couple people here have already reached out to say hi and those people know, a week or so ago I had a first at the gym -- five full minutes of running -- not walking or even briskly walking, but running!

Tonight I had another first -- ten minutes on an elliptical! Holy moly -- have any of you done that? It feels like such an awkward motion for my hips. Anyway, I'm going back for seconds of the elliptical tomorrow. I'm pretty excited that I've discovered a new machine!
