As I am preparing to send 2012 off and welcome in 2013, I started looking for a few more teams to be a part of and found this one.
Last year I added my first half marathon (my normal is anywhere between 1 - 6 miles) to my resume and just started a new training cycle for another HM on St. Patty's Day. I've bene a runner for a few years because I'm affiliated with the military. Nonetheless, I have found SP through a friend as I struggle and yo-yo. Working on changing that (amazingly enough I find it quite challenging in the USA) and getting into a healthy maintenance lifestyle. I've not made as much progress as I should over the past year but I am not worried about it. I did accomplish one thing which is moving my yo-yo from 10lbs to 5lbs. I seem to have permanently drop to about 150. Ultimate goal is to get to 130 so I'll take those 5lbs and am looking to repeat that success this year and then some.
