Hello all! I am new to the group but have been on spark for about 3 weeks now! I am currently doing interval running on my treadmill and am incorporating one of the running programs offered by spark and a program on the ipad. I have ran intervals before but my goal is to get to running a 5k or more by this next summer and take it outside in the spring. I really really want to run my first 5k this spring or summer, whichever I feel ready for by that time. :D
I'm rather new to running, and am learning a lot along the way about proper clothing, shoes and what not. I would be delighted if someone could help explain layering in cold weather so you don't get too hot and don't freeze your tushy off! I live in MN and it can get down right cold and the wind is whats the worst most days.
