Hi! I'm maybe not quite a "rookie" any more, but I'm still very penguin like. :-) SparkPeople helped me lose about 25 pounds 5 years ago (it was all of the quit smoking weight and then some!) and then I started running. I was over 50 at the time and pretty nervous about it, but now I don't know how I ever got by without it! I am just really looking for a running discussion board, I guess.
