Oh no, that is a great pace. One thing I tell runners is your pace is YOUR pace. Do not compare your pace with anyone else. You are doing a FANTASTIC job!

okay that is a slow pace isn't it?
to me finishing is the main thing.

My goal was to do a 5k and never thought i could do that and did and now slowing working towards a longer runs and hoping to do the Vancouver 1/2 marathon in May.

Welcome to the team!!! I most definitely think you can train and race a half marathon.

Your pace per mile for the 5K (32 minute finishing time) is a 10:18 minute per mile pace.

I really like Greg McMillan's Running Calculator (see link below)...just remember the longer the distance you race, the slower your pace will be and you don't want to train for your races at race pace very often nor for the entire distance, until race day.

Hi Everyone

I am from BC Canada, have done about 6 5k and 10 k races. thinking of doing a 1/2 marathon but dont know if this body can handle it!!

hope to get to know you all

oh how do i calculate my pace group - i run a 5k race usually and finish in 32 mins
