Hi all! I'm 39, eyeing the looming 40 that's coming next year, and training for two half marathons next year (I'm going to go for the Disney Coast to Coast medal, which requires me to complete a half marathon at both Florida and California parks). I'm still an utter rookie, and the one I'm doing in February (the Princess Half Marathon at Disney World) is my first half ever, so I'm anxious but optimistic. I'm not fast, nor am I training for speed... I'll be glad to finish the half in the maximum required time. But you know, I'll get there. :) And besides, when I committed to it, my husband did, too, so I'll have company.
