welcome.. I am also from Jersey with 2 small ones ( 4 yr old twins) and divorced..I was a HUGE runner before the divorce but now that i am working my running has disappeared. Now that the weight came back i'm trying to get myself back on track and get back into running.. You are a true inspiration that you run 20-25 miles a week with small kids and working. Great Job.
The world reflects back the energy you put out
I am from NJ as well :)
I am also training right now,. for the Disney Marathon in the January, but also for the Philadelphia Half in September, among a few others!

Welcome Rebecca! You amaze me with what you've accomplished so far in your running... especially with two small children! Keep the great effort going, and welcome to the team!

Glad you found us. We have a monthly "chat" thread, and you are welcome to jump in and join the gang!
Welcome to the team! Sounds like you are doing quite well with your training. After 6 1/2 years of running, I still consider myself a rookie. So much to learn!
RUN SPARK STRONG!
welcome, but at 20 - 25 miles a week i think you are not a rookie, your a full scale runner
Good Morning All!!! Just joined yesterday and had three emails welcoming me from the team leaders. What a fantastic welcome.
I am fairly new to running, have a year and a half under my belt. I run 20-25 miles a week. A lot of running is on the treadmill since I am a single mom to two young munchkins (5 and 8). Any opportunity I get to run outside I do. Fortunately most of my long runs I have been able to get outside. Did my first 10 mile race in May and training for my first HM this September. I am not interested in how fast but how far and what I can accomplish. Although picking up some speed would be nice as I am quite slow.
Always looking to learn more and improve. Seems like this is a fantastic place to be. Looking forward to meeting new folks.
Make it a fantastic day!!!
