I'm trying to get back to running after an about 6 year lay off. I started off walking that walking with short run intervals. I'm starting the 2nd week of the run/walk program I am doing. I am doing the program from the beginning runner's had book, by the sport medicine council of British Columbia. The Walk/run intervals seem to have worked, because I was able to skip week two of the program and go on to week three, which I started today.

I look forward to posting more on this message board.emoticon
