Well, I'll just dive right in to talking about me... I have been trying to lose weight for a while now (lost about 25 pounds when I was 16, gained most of it back in college) but I've been trying to do it on my own. Finally I got fed up and decided to go exactly by the meal planner on the nutrition tracker. This is only my first day but I haven't felt hungry all day and I've just felt GOOD. I think it's because I'm only putting good stuff in my body.

For the running part, I have never really been in shape. I have been overweight since elementary school (maybe before?) and never stuck with any sport/physical activity for it to take any effect on me. I've tried running off and on, always with C25k, which I've managed to get 4 weeks into at the most. That was during a summer break in college. Now I have a lot of time on my hands because I'm trying my hand at staying at home and writing while my husband works so I really want to stick with the program long enough to A) finish and B) see results. My goal is not to become a running nut (not that there's anything wrong with that) but just to get in the habit of running (which is one of the few true "exercises" I actually enjoy).
