The TM or dreadmill, actually helps push you along so it is easier for most people to run on one. I tend to hit the sides of the TM when I run on it!!

i was the same way! for some reason im just not as good of a runner outside as i am at the gym. what i do is go to the gym everyday but for 2 days of the week i run outside....i dont focus on speed but on endurance. i go really slow but can run the 3 miles nonstop at a slow pace. ive been gradually getting better but running outdoors is a lot harder for sure.

I was so excited to see there was a group for me...I just started running about 3 months ago and it seems like I am progressing so slow..my time/speed etc. I ran for the first time outside last week and was distressed to find I could not run my 3 miles I have been running on the treadmill. Has anyone else had this happen. I am signed up to run a 5K April 14th and I am second guessing myself.
