I started out about 2 weeks ago using the free run on my Wii Fit. Started at 10 minutes and worked my way up to 20. Really thought it was trying to kill me...
The weather is starting to get nicer here now. (Or at least until Mother Nature reminds us once again the I live in northern Minnesota.) So, I thought I would give it a try outside. I knew this was going to be much more difficult than running in my livingroom. I tagged a 1 mile circle starting and ending at my house. Well, I finished the cirlce. I didn't jog the whole thing. I did finish by doing walk/jog intervals though. I was pretty proud of myself.

I'm new-ish to running. I say ish because I've dipped my toe in running for about a year, but nothing serious. The last few months I'm following a program that has me out running 3 days a week and gradually adding distance. I looooooove it! It's jumpstarted my weight loss again and my motivation. I signed up for a 10k in may. I look forward to the support I'll find here.
