I went with Gwen this past Sunday. It was the 2 of us, her daughter and one other lady. Not crowded at all.

I do live by CV - but would rather not see people I know - small community - do not want to get stuck chatting - I just want to go and swim:) The Vestal deal sounds great - and I like the weekend option.

We have mentioned in another thread some of the local high schools have inexpensive swims...$2 per adult I believe. Vestal and Chenango Valley. There may be more but we haven't heard from anyone who might let us know.

If you live near another school I'd encourage you to check it out with them. Let us know if you find out another swimming source! :-)

see my post on vestal pool.. it's not free.. it's $2/ adult.. But if you're there for family swim.. you stay for the lap swim for free.. and there is plenty of room to do laps during the family swim...

I have am embership at Planet Fitness - btu get bored going there all week. I love to swim - but can't afford to join another gym or the Y (3 kids in college - that's where all my money goes:) Does anyone know of a free place to swim in Binghamton??
