Often blogging is a new and novel idea for members who have just joined SparkPeople. One of the wonderful benefits of having your SparkPage up and running is to be able to put your ideas out in the form of blogs. Others can comment on your blogs and you can comment on other blogs. This quickly builds some VERY helpful support within your SparkFamily and opportunities abound to "pay it forward!"
If privacy is of concern, you can always elect to allow only your "friends" access to your SparkPage.
Just a few questions / thoughts to help you get started:
Sometimes a helpful place to start is to describe how you arrived at a point where you knew you had to take action, when did the light bulb go on that told you "enough is enough! I have GOT to regain control over my life!"
What were some of the first steps, the first changes you began to make in your life?
What kind of results did you begin to notice?
What DRIVES you to maintain a committment to your well-being?
What INSPIRES you and LIGHTS a FIRE 'neath you?
What are your favorite workouts? Favorite tunes to fire you up?
What are your favorite "go-to" foods that help you get through the day making healthy food choices?
Any favorite healthy recipes?
Another helpful resource for blogging is the SparkPeople Weekly Blog Prompt, which you can find at this link: www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/blog_prompt.as
So blog your hearts away folks! :-)
