Great advice, Don!

A new member SparkMailed me some questions that I thought others might also have so I thought I would share my answers / info with anyone who might have questions about finding your way around SparkPeople.
It helps me TREMENDOUSLY to discover what hurdles newcomers find to jumping in and using all that SparkPeople has to offer. Because if things are tripping YOU up, the odds are they are tripping up others too! Don't hesitate to post your questions here on this thread so that I or others can answer them.
The first step to accessing our message boards is to know where our SparkTeam's page is. On the right hand side of any SparkPeople website as you scroll down about 3/4 of the way you will see a box of "Quick Links" and below that you'll see a link to "My Spark Teams"
If you click this it will take you to a page with links to all your Spark Teams listed. Click on the Binghamton Area Losers link and this should take you to our Spark Team's page.
There are quite a few helpful links on this page and I would encourage you to click around and discover all the areas you can visit within our Spark Team's page. But the MAJORITY of the page is taken up by the Team Forums section in the middle as you scroll down. The forums are separated into three sections:
General Team Discussion Forum
Introduce Yourself to Team Forum
Personal Logs, Journals & Weigh Ins Forum
If you click on the "Introduce Yourself to Team Forum" you will go to a list of all the message board posts which others have made in the past.
To post a new introduction for yourself click on "Create a New Topic" which takes you to a new page in which you type up a "topic" title for your introduction and then type away your "message". When you are finished click on the "Post Message" button and voila! Your introduction is posted to the Team!
Here are some links to web pages which may answer other questions. I would encourage you to post your questions to the Team right here at this message thread so that those who may have the same questions can see that they are not alone. I and / or others will be glad to help you with further instructions.
