Better yet to see you're jumping right into the message boards! That is one way to get LOTS of support from your fellow members! Keep coming back and post your thoughts, feelings, struggles and SUCCESSES! We're all in this together!
The two best areas to begin are:
1) the Fitness Tracker...go to "My Tools" and in the drop down list select "My Fitness". Start logging in your physical activities and thinking about the kind of goals you want to achieve for yourself.
2) the Nutrition Tracker...go to "My Tools" and in the drop down list select "My Nutrition". Start adding the foods that you eat. You can either choose to follow the recommended SparkPeople Meal plans or remove those and simply add what you eat as a way of studying your baseline food intake.
Also consider working on your SparkPage! It's a great way to share your goals and activities of interest to you. Go to "Community" and select "SparkPages" from the drop down list. Then click "View Your SparkPage" and consider what you might want to add. Also browse some of the Success Stories for some inspiration!
