Last summer I was sea kayaking in Alaska. Boy do I wish I was doing that again. So much fun.
Oh hey, with the SPARK on your side, you're gonna have a SUPER advantage over the others in your biggest loser competition...lol!
Best of all is the lifestyle approach of SparkPeople...it's not about a "diet," as much as crafting a lifestyle that maximizes one's health and wellness for the rest of our lives...woo hoo! :-)
We're going to be joining our neighboring SparkTeam from Ithaca for some kayaking out on Cayuga Lake on Sun. Aug. 2nd...feel free to join in!
I just tried kayaking for the first time a few days ago and LOVED it...can't wait to get back in and GO!

Thanks for joining and great to have you! Let us know if there is anything we can help you with :) Can't wait to see you dropping those pounds!!

You shall not try to relive yesterday for good or ill, it is forever gone. Concentrate on what is happening in your life and be happy now!
So, I'm excited to have found so many people from the area on SP. I once weighed 130 pounds when I lived in the NYC/NJ area and since moving here I have gained 86 pounds over the last 6 years.
I have tried to lose weight many MANY times, over the years and have failed miserably. Recently I was asked to join one of the teams at my work for a weight loss/get fit challenge and now the competitor I once was, is slowing rearing it's head :)
Great to be here and best of luck to us all!
Where did I go?
