I've been having fun getting out on my bicycle more and more these days and love it! I used to ride all over Michigan State University back in my college days. The 45 acre campus made it a necessity...lol.
Mixing up your workout routine is highly recommended to bump out of plateaus and one of the reasons I'm trying to get on my bicycle more as I am a die-hard treadmill user. Every morning first thing out of bed I'm on my 'mill...love getting it done before anything else so I don't have to "find" the time!

Welcome to the team! I love to ride my bike, but I am definitely a very new cyclist, so I can't help you there -- I'm sure I should be getting tips from you! Amyliz has some good advice about looking at what you're eating. Also, I've heard fantastic things about Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. It's for toning up and working on those last 10 pounds and I've heard it is intense but effective.

Welcome to the team! There is a lot of support here, whether you want to lose 5 lbs or 500 lbs, it's a big deal if it is important to you! I can't really help you with your question because I am not a bike rider. The only thing I can suggest is that maybe you should look at your food a little more. I would think that you have both cardio and strength there and that would be good. Good luck! and if you have any more questions just ask!
I'm making a new effort to lose 10 pounds that I have not been able to lose for over a year. That may not sound like much to alot of you but it is a BIG deal to me. I'm into alot of bike riding and weight lifting and that doesn't seem to budge the scale. Is anyone else doing this type of exercise? I'd love to hear from you folks.
