emoticonAdopting a better, more healthy diet and exercise program can go a long way toward freeing you from prediabetes, easing fibro symptoms and managing fatigue. It has really helped my husband and myself. We were both prediabetic before starting our search for health, and I had burning sensations in my fingers and toes plus extreme muscle weakness in both hands - some days I could not pull open my desk drawers! Now we both are back in normal range for blood sugars, my peculiar weakness has vanished and the burning reduced to mild tingling which I hope will continue to fade. I have RA, which also carries fatigue, but my energy has increased greatly over these past 3 years. It takes time and effort but you and your husband will both greatly benefit from this journey if you seriously engage it. God Bless your efforts!emoticon

Hi all,

I've been a member of SparkPeople for several years now & it did help . . . when I used it. My hubby just signed up (voluntarily!!!) and I've recently been diagnosed with fibro, chronic fatigue & pre/borderline diabetes, so I really need to make some serious changes in my lifestyle. I'm sick & tired of feeling sick & tired!!
