Thank you, I see people are very welcoming here which will make it easier for me to ask for help not to fall off the food wagon. Saturday I walked with my daughter about 12 blocks on sunday my calves were hurting and I thought wow thats bad it's time for me to make a life change ( which I've been saying since thanksgiving last year ). so it's time for action no more talking!

I also went from drinking cokes everyday to none. I sometimes have one a month but it is a small fountain drink with lots of ice. After the first week I felt much better. I am now walking 2-5 miles a day and feel really good. Now I am working on my smoking, it has always been the hardest for me. But I will prevail and so will you, take it one day at a time and keep a good attitude. This is a great site and I found a local group that I have been able to hook up with and they meet twice a week to walk and workout. So ask for help when you feel like you need it.

Hi new to sparks and the group. I'm ready to make a change one step at a time. I went from drinking basically only diet pepsi to only twice a week and honestly last month only 4 times. I know its small but for me a huge step and a good start. I'm very competitive in the rest of my life but I'm an emotional eater and this is my struggle since I was 14. Anyway i'm trying something different. I'm reaching out. I've always done it on my own, so now, a change.
