Grateful to be here - in a place where having mental illness is not such a bad thing - at all. I am who I am, and one of the things that has affected me almost all my life is a sense that I was very troubled.
I'm 61 now, and therapy, meds, hospitalizations have helped me so much.
My diagnosis is schizoaffective, and usually I don't tell people that - a lot of folks will say "surely, that is not you".....
But I know me, and it is..............
So one of the things that is most important in my life is authenticity and being true of myself.
~~I just came off of Abilify, and am still not sleeping regular hours. When I wake up, early, too early, I come to the computer and read Spark People news. There is so much 'good stuff'.
I am blessed. I am blessed. And thank you for letting me share.
(being on this team is a GIFT!)
with all my heart
"MAY I HAVE THE COURAGE,
TO MAKE MY LIFE A BLESSING....."
All of life is a narrow bridge,
The only thing
Is not to fear~~~~
