Yes, it gets easier! Don't give up!
I do live classes instead of using the DVDs, but when I first started I could barely keep up with one of the slower classes. Now I more than keep up with the most intensive class in my area, can do master classes, etc.
Have you ever danced before? If you don't have any Latin dance experience it's going to take a while to get the hang of things.
Dances: salsa (standard/LA), casino, rueda de casino, cumbia Colombiana, bachata, mambo, cha-cha-chá, merengue, reggaetón.
Currently learning: Mexican cumbia, danzón, Cuban rumba
Dances to Learn in the future: flamenco, tango Argentino, samba, belly dancing, bhangra, ballroom rumba
Yes, it does get easier. I am doing okay with the activate dvd but tripped all over myself when I tried the more advanced dvds. I went back and tried the step-by-step dvd and found it much easier than it was the first time I went through it. Now I still do a lot of modifications and have trouble with many of the full speed steps, but I definitely noticed an improvement.
It certainly does get easier, which in turn makes it that much more fun! Keep at it - once you get the step by step down, the routines will come natural in no time! Keep up the great work!

I just got the Exhilarate DVD set after hearing so many of my friends raving about how fun Zumba is. I just did the step by step DVD this morning and couldn't keep up or finish. I had fun when I could keep up though. Does it get easier?
