Hello! I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself! My name is Erin and I just recently got into Zumba! I love to dance so when I found out about Zumba I immediately tried it and now I am looking for DVDs so I can do it from home! Anyone know any good DVDs out there?

Hi Spark People! Just wanted to introduce myself and say that I'm excited to join a group of people online that are into Zumba as much as I am. I initially got into Zumba because of my crush on Pitbull. And now I'm a hopeless addict that starts most mornings with a cup of coffee, a bowl of special K, and a 30 minute Zumba workout.

Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum and Sparkpeople I have been doing Zumba off and on for a few years and love it. I am getting back into it steady now so I can lose the weight. This forum seems to be a great place to keep me motivated. Is there any challenges coming up?

Hi,

I have loved Zumba for a long time. I have always danced since I was little but was never that coordinated. I recently joined a studio that teaches Zumba and I'm having a lot of fun there. There were challenges for me at first. I had to complete 3 months worth of physical therapy for tendonitis. I would drop in for an occasional class then. I would do the moves with little or no movement of my arms. Now I'm thrilled that I finished my PT and I have almost complete movement of my arms! I moved ahead to Zumba toning a few weeks ago with light weights. These seemed a bit too light so I tried the heavier ones. I think I'm not ready for the heavy ones.

I have progressed quite a lot in coordination over the past month or so since I joined. I couldn't do jumps before but I can now. It is a bit difficult for me. I once fractured my foot and now I have to wear a stiff orthotic in my sneakers. I think the orthotic holds me back in my ability to do some things but I keep on trying!

Thanks so much for the recommendation! Finding shoes is tricky for me because I need WW width - I'll see what Reebok has to offer!

@Carrenk - I have heard mixed reviews on "Zumba" brand shoes.... I have found that Reebok Studio choice work for me the best. I got them at footlocker. (I got the black n pink lowtops. They work great and slide nicely on the floor and you can spin in them. www.footlocker.com/product/model:210

Hi All emoticon -

New to this group... I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE ZUMBA!!!! After a lot of pushing from my best friend to go ( I never liked to exercise) , I started Zumba classes back in late march and I am addicted!!! I go twice a week and would go more but my instructor only does 2 classes and she Is AWESOME!!!!

I have a great group of women in the class so it doesn't feel like a class.. more like a night out with the girls..... Because of Zumba I know also added in the gym twice a week... and I am seeing the results!

@Kaza - some shoes have a round section on the sole at the ball of your foot. Makes the pivots a lot easier! The first pair I purchased didn't fit very well, so I'm searching for a new brand to try. emoticon

Hi! I'm a long time Spark member, and I'm starting my third year of Zumba. I only have class once a week, but I really enjoy it, I'm not the most coordinated person, but I'm a musician so I have a pretty good sense of rhythm, which keeps me from getting too lost!
Joining this team now because my Google search for Zumba shoe recommendations brought me here! Looking forward to learning from everyone!

I am new to Zumba as a dancer. Can you really call yourself a dancer, when you look like a 3yr old throwing a fit while trying to learn the moves??? emoticon I recently got new internet and therefore I can do Zumba in the comfort of my Living Room via some DirecTV/YouTube videos. This way I get to pick and choose and sit down and catch my breath without feeling like a loser/failure! (i use those terms lightly).

I won't be Zumba'ing often, just possibly twice/week to change up my already structured walking routines. Thanks for having me, I'll be around! ~ Naomi

Hey there, everyone! I'm new to the team, but I've been Zumba-ing since 2009ish. I usually do "dance fitness" videos on Youtube or take classes at the local university's student rec center (via staff membership). I do have one of the games for Wii, but the controls insult my old-school gamer sensibilities (you can sit down and shake the controller to get a good score...). I tend to like the Bollywood routines...

My mum sometimes joins me, and she's awesome at keeping up despite her age and bad knees! I only hope I can be as awesome as her one day ^^

If you can say that everything is meaningless, you've said all you can say, but personally I want to live life feeling the meaning of every word deeply.

Hi, I'm Debbie. I joined our wellness center last May. They have a Zumba Gold class that I take, however the wonderful instructor left and I don't care for the new instructor. I'm considering taking a regular Zumba class instead. Anyway, I love Zumba even if my body doesn't want to cooperate. lol

Hello! My name is Jess and I am starting a new Zumba class tonight. I thought what better way to stay motivated to go than to join a group dedicated to Zumba lol. I have done Zumba in the past, and it is one of my favorite way's to exercise. In the past I have let my size stop me from going to many classes but I decided to heck with it. I know that the only one in there judging me is me and it's time to get over it!

Zumba in the Park sounds painful if you don't have the right kind of footwear. When I played a witch in The Scottish Play a few years ago we did it in a park, and when I would run and jump and dance it HURT in the knees and ankles the next day, Make sure your feet aren't sticking to the ground when you twist and turn, and make sure you have high-impact insoles in your sneakers.

Hi! My name is Lorelei and I just joined SparkPeople and Team Zumba Lovers today!

I'm 42 years old. I've been sedentary (meaning lazy) my whole life because I always had a high metabolism. I decided a month ago to do something because my metabolism has slowed down to a crawl and I need to lose 19 lbs. Dieting alone wasn't making the weight go away, even though I cut out all of the junk I lived on my whole life.

I bought the Zumba Exhilarate set and I am hooked. I'm frustrated, though, because I'm forcing myself to start out slow. Like I said, I've been lazy my whole life, and I'm in my 40s now and heart disease runs in my family. I want to do a 60 minute set NOW, but I know I need to do baby steps.

Were any of you just able to jump into it (no pun intended) without starting out slow?

Morning Margarita!

I can tell you what has worked for me. Just get moving. Do some kind of cardio at least 30 minutes a day and commit to doing it for 4 weeks. Also track your food and exercise on here via the trackers.

The key is to get started - after you get over the hump and start seeing the results it creates a domino effect and you don't want to stop!

Take it from me - I was in the 230's back in 2007, started, got down to 181, had a baby and went back up to 230. The difference now is that I know what to do now and it's working!

The best answer really is just to do it. Don't grant yourself any excuses. Just wait, the feeling of accomplishment that you will soon have is addicting.

I am also back to being a regular here so I and I bet a lot of others here will be here to offer you support. Good luck and get moving!

God is good and I'm alive. No excuses necessary - go hard or go home! (and then put some work in there too!)

Hey SQHARDBODY,

Is it the Zumba Exhilarate set? I used to do the old Zumba videos with Beto and I liked them a lot, but this new set? I...AM...HOOKED!

I get up at 5 AM to either run or get a cardio workout in, and for the last two weeks I haven't failed to get up when it's not a running day because I'm looking forward to ZUMBA!!!

I've also got some big goals so maybe we can work on them together. Looking forward to our journey!

God is good and I'm alive. No excuses necessary - go hard or go home! (and then put some work in there too!)

Hi everyone!! I just created this account since I have no idea what my old username/password is. I've taken Zumba classes very sporadically in the past but I recently bought the latest home system and something about it has gotten me totally hooked. So I figured I'd join a community of people who loves it as much as I do. I have some pretty lofty (to me) goals so I'm hoping Zumba will get me to where I want to be (in conjunction with the other measures I've taken).

I'm glad to be here and I hope to really become involved with you all... :)

Hi All -
I'm new to the team. This is my second go-round on spark. I joined 3 years ago and lost 35 pounds (15 of which I've gained back now). So I'm here to prevent further slideback by going back to the basics: Exercise, food tracking, and encouragement!

I love Zumba and am actually trying to start an 8-week free community fitness course called Zumba in the Park. I'm excited to meet you all and to start encouraging you on your journeys!

Hi, All!

I am new to the team and just got certified to teach Zumba! Although I am a bit intimidated because I am no where close to my goal (been fighting medical issues), I am starting to practice and then going to look to teach locally.

I am excited to be a part of the team! Woo hoo!

Hi Everyone! I haven't even tried zumba yet - going to my first class tonight - but I know I am going to love it! I love music and I love dancing - how can I not love it? Feeling very motivated to get into shape right now. I have not been very active in the last 10 years so this should shake things up!

Hi everyone, I am new to the team. I participated in Zumba for the 1st time last year but only for a few times. This year I went 3 times already and would like to stay motivated to continue going. I need to lose at least 60 pounds. I feel lazy and sluggish most of the time? Any suggestions on how to get on track?

I've been a SparkPeople member for a few years now... off and on. I admit, I'm horrible about consistency. So I decided today that I was going to find some groups I'd be interested in interacting with. Hello Zumba!

I've been attending Zumba class for 2 years now and I'm totally hooked. Anybody who has an instructor they LOVE will understand when I say that she is totally irreplaceable! With that said... she is moving to CHINA in June. Way too soon I will be on a quest to "replace" an irreplaceable instructor, friend, mentor. But Zumba will stay with me!

I love Zumba and have a hard time getting myself to do anything else. I do it using the Xbox Kinects and I love all of the games. I did a live class once, but have not been able to go back due to weather and family needs. It's nice that I can always do the Zumba in my basement though.

I am even getting my sister into it. I'm hoping she'll learn to love it like I do.

Hello! :)
I'm Terry :) I started Zumba in March 2013..I loved it so much that I went to instructor class in July and started teaching in August.
I only teach 2 classes per week now, but I plan to add more soon. I love it because you don't feel like you are working out and it's never monotonous.

Hello! Just joined SparkPeople today specifically for this group! I've been Zumbaing for close to a year now (on and off, '13's holiday season was a tough one for me) and felt the need to reach out to others that love Zumba as well. I started out with the live classes but the times I took made me feel isolated, so I went to the DVDs, until they all had issues playing.

I ordered the Exhilarate system through a third party and I think that was my mistake. I think they repackaged them or something because all of my devices said there was an error playing them. Then RL smacked me in the face. Family illnesses and stress from work kicked me around for a while.

I've ordered the new system from the official shop so I am hoping that I can try to stay more consistent. I have been dabbling with the idea of taking the instructor's course but I've been out of it for so long, I don't know if I could last all day.

I'm hoping to make some friends in the Zumba community!

I joined SP in September. I joined a gym in October and started Zumba then. Depending on my work schedule I can make it to anywhere form 1-3 classes a week. I just bought some DVDs so I can do Zumba at home when I can't make a class.

Hi everyone! I have been a Zumba lover since last July. I was converted after seeing a good friend of mine constantly posting about how much she was enjoying the classes. I have always been a big fan of dancing and I rather enjoy being in an accepting environment where it doesn't matter if I'm overweight. Too often you can feel ashamed by how you look, but for me, every Zumba class has served as a safe haven for me to do something I truly enjoy and lose weight/get in shape without worrying about being judged.

Hi everyone!

I'm Amanda and I have been LOVING Zumba since
January 2012!

I started out going twice a week at a gym, then moved to once a week at the library with WiiZumba in between. I currently do 3-4 times a week at a beautiful dance studio!

I have always done Zumba Basic, but I recently tried my first Zumba Toning class with the 2.5 lb Toning Sticks. (WOW! And I thought Zumba Basic was intense!) I definitely underestimated the Toning Sticks because my arms were on fire after my Toning class!

I also recently started doing two classes back to back on Thursday nights (Zumba Basic followed by Zumba Toning) and I feel so amazing afterwards! Tired and sweaty, but amazing! My Thursday night Zumba Basic class is a "Black Out" class. This is where all the lights are turned off, the disco lights are on and everyone is wearing neon bracelets! So much fun!

I look forward to talking to more people who love Zumba as much as I do! :)

Hello all! Just getting active on Spark again and just took my first Zumba class. It wasn't pretty, but oh my I'm hooked! Since I can only go to a class one night per week I rushed to my local gamestop and purchased Zumba for my grandchildren's Wii so I can practice at home. What a fun way to keep moving and burning calories! Any tips for a newbie?

HI! Everyone! I love ZUMBA! I have been zumbaing since Nov. 2012! Way fun!

I DO wish there was a team goal of something I could join to put into my 'other' goals, list. I do not Zumba 5 days a week! The other option doesn't show up in my tracker, for this team! Oh Well! Maybe I should join a different team. I just thought there would be ALLOT of interest because there are SO many members! Anyway.... check out my spark page if you want to learn more about me!

With New Years around the corner, I have decided NOT to make resolutions! Just keeping with my goals & what I already KNOW works! That way I can't fail! I have my visions on my start page! I read them EVERY day & re-commit to myself!

I've met 2 Spark people in the flesh! VERY fun! Hope to meet more, one day! (Hint hint AJ, I'm coming to L.A. for Oscar events.... maybe this time!)

Happy Sparking everyone!

Hola! I wanted to introduce myself to this group because I LOVE Zumba! I've been attending a live class for the past year or so - and it has become my all time favorite workout! I recently got Zumba 2 game for the wii and have only played it a couple of times but really enjoying it so far!

I live in Columbus, OH with my 2 year old son and my husband of 3 years. I've been overweight for as long as I can remember. The past year has been spent learning to eat better and live better. I haven't seen a HUGE amount of weight being shed just yet, 20 lbs so far. I keep yoyoing back and forth. I'll lose 10lbs, gain 5 back, lose 2 and gain 7. It''s a vicious cycle emoticon However, I'm certain that 2014 will be my year to kick it up an notch and lose the weight I've wanted to for so long!

Hope to get to know everyone!

Hi Zumba Aficionados,

Ok, I usually don't introduce myself to forums nor do I post often preferring to lurk and chime in when something particular moves me. But Zumba always moves me hence this post.

I am a bit of a rare bird as I am a man and even more unusual I should be in Zumba Gold but I have been blessed with enough energy to keep up and even lead in regular, high energy classes.

I have always practiced physical education and about 3 years ago was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Needless to say this was a very stressful, fearful time and, thanks to Spin, a 21 day water-fast, chemotherapy and radiation got through it all and now back to my healthy, always-jumping-around self. Then I went for a PSA exam and my doctor told me it was high. OH OH! Another cancer scare was on the way. I researched the psa test and found out that doing a lot of spin can cause an erratic psa due to the pounding of the bicycle seat on your ... how shall is say this ... manly parts. I was in a real quandary, spin made me feel quite good, but it was possibly responsible for this high psa test. What to do? My experience has always shown me that the ladies know how to do aerobics better than anyone. There were lots of them rushing off to something called "Zumba" so I decided to follow them once more.
Boy am I ever glad I did! My first Zumba class was a revelation! It was more than fun, it was beyond great! emoticon It brought me back to when I was a teenager and went dancing every night of the week. I also lucked out that my teacher was a former professional dancer and one of the best instructors in Canada.
At the end of that last class I told her that I was going to switch from Spin to Zumba and also that my regular Nike's were sticky. She suggested buying a pair of Zigs. Next class 2 days later I was wearing my Reebok Crosby Zigs and have never looked back since.
What about that worrisome PSA test result... like magic it went back down to normal... so it must have been the spin.
Today, my wife and I are very fortunate and happy campers. We are living full time in a beautiful, Mexican port right on the tropic of cancer. We are going to outdoor Zumba classes on a basketball court 3 times a week for free emoticon
My wife is now able to attend Zumba and she is almost as addicted as I am. She likes to stand in the sunny section while I prefer to Zumba in the shade (as I like to push it to 95% of the instructor's speed)
She says that she has noticed that she can swim much better in the Oceanside pool at our condo and she is starting to lose weight. When January comes around I will put her on a water-fast to reset her system combined with 3 Zumbas and 3 weight sessions per week, plus swimming and boogie-boarding so she should be in great health for many years to come.

Ok guess that's enough for now. Much too long. Sorry but I was a teacher for most of my life and we tend to go on.... and on emoticon

I joined this team back on October 15 and I'm just now getting around to introducing myself.

I bought Zumba 'Join The Party' DVD's with the toning sticks (it's the older version... I heard it was a lot better as far as instruction goes) on Ebay just before I joined. I've only used them a little so far, but I really like it! I'm just getting started and back into the habit of exercising on a regular basis again. I used to workout for a couple hours, every other day, (years ago) so I know how much fun and rewarding it is. Too bad I let life get in the way the last few years.

I think once I get more into the DVD's, I'll probably want to find a class near me to join. I think it would be so much more fun with a group.

Hello Zumba Lovers!

I used to weigh 130, and that was when I had lost nearly 60 Pounds. Even then I still always felt fat, I went from size 14 to a size 8, and still battled with insecurities. I have a loving husband, and I feel like I let him down. I met him while I was still beautiful, but now that I have gained nearly all the weight back (I am sitting at a size 12 now) I wish to be happy and healthy again. I tried the Zumba DvDs but it didn't feel like enough for me. Now I have joined a Zumba class and it seems more fun and more fulfilling! I hope I can meet some new faces, I am always looking for workout friends and companions!

Just joined the Zumba Lovers page today! My name is Rachel, I live in Wisconsin, and I have been doing Zumba for about a year and a half now. I lost 35 pounds doing Zumba (gained 10 back when I stopped going due to work commitments) and am in the best shape of my life so far. I have made new friends and gotten closer to old friends by doing Zumba. I am now back in my class 3X a week again! Yay!!! I am happy to have found this group and can't wait to get to know more people!

Hi Everyone!
I just started Zumba classes at my local gym, and I've had the most wonderful experience. At first, I was a little sore, my knees would hurt due to the carpet floor, but I bought a pair of Slip On Dancers from my instructor and I feel the difference. Being a beginner my instructor's support was a key, she's been so patient with me!
For anyone out there with the same issue, get a pair of Slip On Dancers, it will help you a lot!

Hello Zumba lovers;
I rejoined SP, and happy to see this group. I go to the YMCA for Zumba class which is led by an awesome instructor! We are using weights for toning zumba. I cannot believe the calorie burn that my tracker says I do in one session. Is it true?

Hello Everyone!! I just bought Zumba Exhilarate thru Costco. Today will make day 3 for me. I love it, yet I have to keep telling myself looking good or even sexy will come with more practice. Right now I am just trying to get the feet and arms down. Hips will come. LOL. I added it to my tracker yesterday, wow, LOVED the amount of calories I burned in 32 minutes!! It is a calorie torcher!!

I'm opening a new page of a new chapter in my life!! Boy, it feels great!!

Hello fellow Zumba lovers! I've been participating in Zumba classes for the past 4 years and was thinking about buying a pair of Zumba shoes. I did a search on Google, and to my surprise, among the list was a SparkTeam page dedicated to Zumba Lovers. I'm beyond excited to have stumbled upon this page today!

Hi, my name is Sandy and I am 54 years old. I started Zumba about a year ago with Wii and some DVD's that a friend gave me. I just started attending and actual class about 3 weeks ago at the Community Center near my home and I love it. I have lost 4 pounds so far and am looking forward to losing more and getting in shape. Hello! My name is Jenna. I've been doing Zumba for almost 4 months. I'm amazed to have found an exercise that I enjoy doing and that is producing results. And after years of childhood trauma in ballet class, it is refreshing to do dance that encourages you to stick your butt out!

Hello everyone, my name is Veronica. I live in Virginia and joined SparkPeople a while ago stopped and now I am back again. I have one child and am in a long term relationship.
I have had Zumba since it first came out on video! I still have the videos! I kind of worn out the 1st video. I lost track with Zumba for a while. Now that it is the new hit thing again I thought I should try to work on it again. I had lots of fun doing it and I miss that, plus I sweated up a storm. One of my goals is to get Zumba for the Wii. I like to work out in the comfort of my home. Plus I don't have the money to go to a gym or pay for a class right now! I hope joining here will be fun doing Zumba with you all! Actually I know it will! Yay!

I'm a former rec dancer that gained a lot of weight after entering the working world. I've tried losing weight several times unsuccessfully. I'd hate my workouts, stop, and go right back to old eating habits. I found Zumba 2 months ago and fell in love. My instructors do drop-in classes where they can find space in the community (schools/churches). There are a ton of classes & instructors in the area, but I like their set-up because it's no commitment, which actually makes me go more because I don't associate the class with any sort of money guilt. Added a second class a week a few weeks ago and am seeing great results on the scale and in my overall fitness level.

EMBRACEINSPIRE I am by no means a "good dancer" either, I've never attended a Zumba class but I could do Zumba on my Wii at home all day long.

I agree don't worry about doing the moves right just make sure you are moving and you will be sweating and having a great time in no time!!

Don't be too intent on doing the "right" moves. Just enjoy!

My instructor always says, "If you are moving and smiling, then you are doing Zumba correctly."

There is no right/wrong way to do Zumba unless you are an instructor.

Introduce yourself to a couple of people and let them know it is your first class. If they are regulars, they should encourage you. Or maybe the people will be new and you have someone to learn the steps with!

Most importantly, just have fun!!!!

I'm going to my *first* Zumba class tomorrow-- this is my first ever real workout class... I've always been a treadmill or pavement kind of gal-- and I'm not going to lie-- I am soooo nervous... Any pointers? I am also nervous because I am already not a "good dancer" to begin with-- oh man, what am I getting myself into???! emoticon

Hello! I did Spark a few years back and loved it way back when and successfully lost that baby weight. I had all sorts of asthma/respiratory problems before I knew I was missing classes comfort eating. Anyway I have 6 weeks until my little go back to school and really want to start off right. Feeling and looking better. I love Zumba and have been doing it for about 4 years. I want to add some toning in as well. I don't love the "hard" classes at all. That's where I need serious motivation.

Hi ... New to this team. What can I say .... I LOVE Zumba!!! My favorite is Zumba Toning ...

I had to stop attending my classes since I injured my knee this past April ... and I have MISSED it. Looking at a new fitness facility in Cumberland County that offers tons of classes but will always remain loyal to my first Zumba instructor, Carrie, as well.

I was introduced to Zumba in late 2011 ... just happened to go to a class with a friend and that was it. I was told to come to at least 5 or 6 classes before I said I didn't like it. I gave it a chance, learned the steps ... and OFF it went.

Zumba has helped me lose 40+ lbs (along with WW) but some are coming back since I have been restricted from this type of exercise. But, I am so looking forward to getting back to it.

I have the CD's .... but I love the classroom atmosphere the best :)

Hello Everyone, I recently started working out again. I've become addicted to do Zumba every morning. Some mornings it is difficult to get up and do it but once I get started I really enjoy it!

Hi! I am Coco. I am a mom on a mission. I have been playing games with the Zumba DVD box set for like a year, but never really exercised with any consistency until very recently. I joined a Zumba studio at the beginning of this month and have done 60 minutes of Zumba and 60 minutes Zumba Toning on Tuesdays and 120 of Zumba on Thursdays, plus this awesome Zumba party they had on a Friday night with disco lights, black lights, glow bracelets and everything!! That was so fun!! I love all the bright colors and energy of the Zumba culture. I got my Zumba bag, zumba towel, Zumba bracelets, a royal blue coin skirt, and a black coin skirt set with coin bracelets, and I must say...when I put that stuff on...I get motivated and ready to wiggle it...just a little bit!!! when I arrive at the Zumba studio and most of us have our lil skirts on.....I know we are about to have a sassy good time!!!

HI everyone! I am currently living in Japan (about 3 hours from Tokyo), although I'm originally from the US.

I am new to Zumba and I haven't been on Sparkpeople in a long time. I am terrible at exercising but I find that if I have fun with it, I'm more likely to stick with it. My first type of dance exercise was belly dance. I still belly dance quite often. Although Zumba is on the other end of the dancing spectrum, I hope to have the same excitement. There is a class at the community center, so I figure why not!

Hey everybody! I just started back to Zumba this week. I went a couple of years ago but hadn't been since then. I made it to three classes this week (which will be my goal for Zumba). I am hoping adding Zumba into my weight loss plan will kick it in gear. I've been on my plan since March 3 and am a member of TOPS as well. My weight has not moved in two weeks so hoping Zumba will help!

Time passes either way! I choose to look back one day and be happy I took charge of my mouth instead of looking in the mirror and wishing I had!

Hi, my name is Ruthanne and I live in Senegal in West Africa.

There was a girl at my college who was a zumba instructor and had a class once a week, which I absolutely loved! At the end of the year, we took videos and put them on youtube, which made me realize there are probably other zumba videos on youtube. So now I am working on downloading a bunch of them... I don't have a wii, or xbox, or any of that stuff (or the money for one... or a tv). But I am looking forward to getting back into it over the summer... even if I only do a few songs a day and am not coordinated, it is still movement right? I at least won't be sitting around as much as I could (I work at a school, so I have a break over the summer)...
I love zumba!

Create in me a clean heart, oh God!

Hello! I am just getting ready to try Zumba. There are no classes around here.

I am 60 years old so I bought Zumba Fitness Gold Live It Up. It has been mailed out to me today and I should have it by Monday. This version is for people who need to try Zumba at a slower pace. I have a friend that has taken Zumba classes and she loved it.

Wish me luck!!!

Hello! I have been doing Zumba for the last couple of years. I love it. Zumba is my happy place! I am not an instructor but I assist 3 instructors and do Zumba 5x a week. Zumba has been my secret weapon in exercising without knowing that I'm doing that dreaded activity.

Hello Zumba Lovers!

I'm new to the SparkTeam but not Zumba. I've just started back to going to classes a few times a week at my gym after focusing on other forms of exercise for the past year or so. Zumba is so much fun; seriously, the hour just flies by!

I am so excited to stumble on this team. I have been sparking for years but certified in Gold and Basic last year. I was researching choreo and stumbled on a sparkpeople post. I couldn't believe it didn't occur to me to see if there were Zumba teams to join.

So happy to join this team!
