Welcome! You sound as if you are in the right place. I'm sorry you've had so many challenging events. Although I don't mean to say we are like others, it is true that some people have very upsetting things happen to them without eating over it. We're here because somewhere in us, we believe we can be those people, at least most of the time! I affirm that we can all support each other in this effort.

I just found this site.....I have been thinking about losing the rest of my excess weight for a while now...This week I seem to have reached a place where I am feeling motivated. I'm waiting for the book from the library. Can't wait to read it!
I am an emotional eater; 5 years ago I dropped a bit of weight after realizing this; then my Mom passed away and I became divorced and so things have been on the back burner. Now I feel it is time to try and finish healing and look as great on the outside as the person I am on the inside......Do you know what I mean?
